13 Weeks

I am so very happy that we are pregnant again! It was such a different experience seeing two little lines on the test tihis time around. I think because I look at Bennett and feel such joy! Now I get to have that joy times two! Of course, I have moments when I go into panic mode worrying about how I'm going to juggle having two! I know it's going to be a rough first year with 2 under 2, but I can't wait to see my two little chick-a-dees grow up together. They will be 19 months apart. I will definitely be calling on my Mama friends with two babies to get ANY tips they have!!

On to the pregnancy..... It's been a bit rough! I've been barely functioning but am starting to feel better. All I want to do most days is hang my head over the toilet, which is hard to do with Bennett running around and laughing at me. He thinks its hilarious when I'm throwing up/ dry heaving. Glad I can entertain you buddy!



How Far Along? 13 weeks..... into the 2nd trimester! Woo Hoo!
Size of Baby? 3 inches long ( about the size of a medium shrimp)
Maternity Clothes? Not yet. I do think I will be getting the maternity jeans out real soon though just for comfort.
Weight Gain? I'm down 3 pounds total. I gained a pound over Thanksgiving ( no surprise there) but overall am still down 3.
Stretch Marks? Not yet
Gender? No idea- although I'm thinking B is going to have a little brother :)
Movement? Not yet. I can't wait to start feeling him/her move around!
Sleep? When I'm not woken up in the middle of the night by B, I sleep really good. I pretty much pass out right away. But, I'm still exahusted in the morning.
Food Cravings? Apples, ice cold water, angel food smoothie from smoothie king
What I Miss? I really miss having energy to get things done. I've been such a slug lately and haven't felt like my normal self!
Symptoms? I've been pretty sick this pregnancy ( hence the weight loss) and just really sleepy!
Best Moment of the Week? Last week we had my 12 week appointment and got to see our little lime on the ultrasound machine. He/she was just moving away and looked healthy! Praise the Lord!
